Volunteer for BCEP
BCEP offers flexible volunteering, work experience and placement opportunities. Any contribution from a volunteer is valued and makes a difference to the work we do.
Environmental Volunteers wanted.
The main focus of volunteering with BCEP is to raise awareness of environmental issues within communities and to develop the skills of volunteers. Currently, our main opportunities include:-
• Gardening session supporter
• Manual worker for allotment sites to maintain and improve them
• Playworker to support outdoor play
• Scrap play supporter
• Scrap store assistant
• Administration assistant
Although we are based at the Carlisle Business Centre, the majority of our work takes place at client venues such as community/youth spaces, allotments, schools, children’s centres and greens paces around the district.
If you wish to register as a volunteer or discuss the possibilities further, please contact the Volunteer Co-ordinator or phone 01274 223236 to arrange a meeting.
Trustees wanted. See our "Join the Board of Trustees" page.
Got a good environmental idea? Then please contact BCEP to discuss what we can do to help develop and implement the idea. All environmental programme ideas gratefully received and considered.
