How to join the Board of Trustees

BCEP has a track record of delivering practical programmes to improve Bradford's environment. If you wish to become more involved in the governance of BCEP, or if you feel that you have skills, knowledge or contacts that could benefit BCEP's mission and development then please volunteer your services to the Board of Trustees. Meetings are held monthly and last up to one and a half hours (coffee, tea and biscuits provided).

The Board:-
  • Ensures the delivery of BCEP's objectives.
  • Forms strategic plans.
  • Upholds BCEP's values.
  • Approves policies.
  • Reviews financial performance against budgets.
  • Receives detailed feedback from a programme each meeting.
  • Receives general feedback from all of the active programmes.
  • Monitors developments in personnel and training.
  • Makes recommendations for the management team.

In a nutshell, the Board of Trustees checks that BCEP keeps to its objectives, delivers lasting environmental improvements and continues to develop sustainable regeneration in Bradford. Please get in contact via the Contact BCEP page.
