Scrap Magic! News

September is just around the corner.It's almost time for the summer holidays to finish and back to school! Which means it will be time for Scrap Magic to be back into the swing of things.

From Tuesday 7th September we shall be open again(Tues-Thurs 10am-1pm).

Also from September we are changing the set up in Keighley for the hubs. We will now be at 3 centres, which are:

Its the summer holidays but Scrap Magic will still be open!

We will be open for normal hours in the following weeks;

• W/C 26th July
• W/C 9th August
• W/C 16th August

In the first week of August brings an exciting week of events for children and young people across the Bradford district.

These are the Playday events were groups providing play across Bradford come together for a big event to provide a wide range of activities for children to access free of charge.

Playday is the annual celebration of children’s right to play. Playday is a national campaign where, each year, thousands of children and young people get out and play at locally organised events.

We can now announce our opening times for the summer holidays at scrap magic. The timetable is as follows:

Open:

July:

 Tuesday 27th July, Wednesday 28th July, Thursday 29th July

August:

 Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th

 Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th, Thursday19th

The date has been changed for the scrap magic hub for the Strong Close Children's Centre. The date is now to be on the afternoon of  21st July. We will still be going to Low Folds Children's Centre in the morning also.

21st July:

 Low Fold Children's Centre 

10:30 am-1:00 pm

 Strong Close Children's Centre 

2:00 pm-4:00 pm

From May onwards we will be working with not just Holme Wood Childrens Centre but with Bierley and Tyersal Childrens Centres too! These three centres make up Sure Start BHT.

The mobile shop will rotate between these children's centres every month;

We are happy to announce that we are to open a further Scrap Magic shop in Bingley as of Monday 10th May at:

Over Easter Scrap Magic in Eccleshill will be closed for one week.

We will be closed between 6th to 8th April.

On 13th April we will reopen as normal.
