Just a quick reminder to let you know that there is only one week left of Scrap Magic opening before Christmas. Make sure you get to us so you can stock up for the Christmas holidays to keep those little ones busy!

Here at Scrap Magic we are busy getting ready for the very busy period running up to Christmas. We now have all the Christmas stock out (list of the stock is below) and some new and exciting scrap which we got from a giant swap with about 15 other scrapstores last week.

Scrap Magic is always looking for scrap materials to collect from local companies for re-use. We have a scrap section where our customers can fill a basket with a mixture of scrap materials for £1.50! They use these items for play and craft activities with children.

The latest email update has been sent out to our members signed up to recieive updates.

This update  includes up and coming Scrap Magic activities, information about the Bradford Play Consortium, places to go for additional play information and a feature about another BCEP project Habitat Heroes.

The latest Scrap Magic newsletter for Autumn 2011 is now available to download here or view online here.

It includes details of opening locations and days including holiday closing, seasonal stock, volunteering and events and opportunities which may be of interest.

During the summer holidays we are open for just the first and third week, weeks commencing 25th July and 8th August. This is for normal opening days and hours, Tuesday to Thursday 10am-1pm. We will re-open in week commencing 5th September.

All our mobile shops stop running for August, they will re-start in September.

During Play Week we will be providing a mobile shop at the following events;

To help us keep up with demand we are looking for volunteers who can commit to one morning a week to help out with the running of the shop. Duties will include; sorting craft and scrap stock, making scrap packs, developing displays and ideas.

Scrap Magic re-opens after Easter on 3rd May and will have a large quantity of Lever Arch Folders available for anyone to collect for FREE!

We have accumulated so many folders the best way for us to free up space for more exciting scrap is by giving the folders away for free.

The folders are all used but in good condition, come along to the main shop in Eccleshill Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 10am-1pm and ask a member of staff for however many you would like.
