FLINT buys all the fresh fruit and vegetables we deliver to the food co-ops from St James’ Wholesale Market in Bradford.
St James’ is a thriving market, one of only 33 in the country.
Several members of the Fresh Produce Consortium, which includes some of the country’s top growers and importers, recently held a meeting there.

St James’ Market have been involved in reducing the amount of waste that goes from the market into landfill.
In 2009 they worked with Resource Efficiency Yorkshire to put more of their waste into recycling facilities.
