Training Workshops
In addition to the play sessions and loan packs APE can provide training workshops for practitioners around the them of scrap play.
Workshops can be delivered to practitioners in their setting and tailored specifically to the setting or provided more broadly at events, conferences or training days.
All workshops are different depending on where and who they are for. They can last 1hr to 3hr depending on the depth of knowledge and experienced required.
The training workshops generally cover; play theory, scrap play ideas, health and safety, risk assessment and where to source scrap materials. Content of workshops will be discussed when being booked in.
In the past we have delivered workshops at: settings taking on long term loans, training days for childminders and at events for parents and practitioners.
