Playweek 2010: Our Place

In the first week of August brings an exciting week of events for children and young people across the Bradford district.

These are the Playday events were groups providing play across Bradford come together for a big event to provide a wide range of activities for children to access free of charge.

Playday is the annual celebration of children’s right to play. Playday is a national campaign where, each year, thousands of children and young people get out and play at locally organised events.

This year there are 5 events in Bradford and Keighley all open from 12pm to 4pm, all free of charge and open to everyone!

 

Monday 2nd: Holmewood

Tuesday 3rd: Keighley

Wednesday 4th: Baildon

Thursday 4th: Greengates

Friday 6th: Allerton

 

This year BCEP is proud to announce that both Scrap Magic and Adventurous Play Experience (APE) will be attending all the Play Day events this year!

Scrap Magic will be providing an arts, craft and scrap store for anyone to access to top up their resources over the summer.

APE will be providing junk modelling and scrap play activities at the events which use only scrap resources but allow children to explore and create and have fun.

Please come and look out for us during the week, the events will be fun packed and keep the kids busy and having fun all afternoon.
