Children supported by a recycling scheme have been donated a fresh supply of old office materials to reuse for arts, crafts and play activities.
Ken Haycock, of Bradford-based Yorkshire Building Society, visited Scrap Magic’s craft and scrap store, at Eccleshill Adventure Playground where he met children and took a look at some of their creations.
The building society has donated posters, pens and files to Bradford Community Environment Project’s Scrap Magic scheme, which takes materials which are no longer of use to offices but can become new and exciting projects in the hands of children.
Mr Haycock, of the building society’s distribution services department, said: “We’re thrilled that our old equipment can be put to such good use by the children of Bradford.”
