Bradford Re-Paint

BCEP is delighted to announce that Bradford Re-Paint has joined the BCEP group. Following a frantic month of securing funding we have secure funding to re-launch Bradford Re-Paint and so continue it valuable recycling and re-use work in the district.

Scrap Magic open on Saturdays!

Over the past month we have been planning for and making some positive changes to our services.

Firstly, we have introduced Saturday opening once month from 10am-1pm! We have wanted to add Saturday openings for a while now and hope it will mean more people can access all the great things we sell :)We will open the 4th Saturday of each month (excluding August) from 10am-1pm.

The dates are;

BCEP Celebration Day - Tuesday 18th June

This summer BCEP will be hosting a Celebration Day to showcase all of our individual projects and the brilliant work they do!

There will be natural art sessions, seed planting sessions and minibeast hunts, along with junk modelling and tours of our freshly developed wibsey site.

We will be splitting the day into three sessions for different school groups:

11-12pm - Primary School groups

1pm-2pm - Secondary School groups

3pm-4pm - Community and Youth groups

Anyone and everyone is welcome!

On Wednesday Scrap Magic celebrated its 5th Birthday!

The shop based in Eccleshill, sells a range of exciting resources for families in Bradford to use with their children, started life back in 2008 from an empty garage and has now grown to offer large range of affordable craft and scrap resources.

Due to the bad weather and site maintenance, Wibsey Park Community Garden will be closed this week (25th-29th).

Regular groups are cancelled over the Easter Holidays (1st-12th April) but alternatively please come along to our:

'Community Taster Days'

3rd and 10th April from 11am-3pm.

Forest Fest Cancelled (postponed)

Due to the snowy weather and blizzard conditions and that the temperature will feel like -9ᴼC all weekend, this weekends (23rd-24th March) Forest Fest is postponed.

We will re-organise the event in a month or twos time, when the venue is available and the spring has finally sprung.

Jen will be in contact with all 60 of you hardy Forest Festers soon.

This spring, Scrap Magic celebrates its 5th Birthday!

Five years ago we started with an empty garage and have gradually built up the space into a very full and exciting scrapstore. Each year we are busier and busier and are planning on celebrating in style!
